Morgan State Mens Tennis student-athlete appointed to NCAA SAAC

NORFOLK, Va.August 5, 2021 Morgan State University men’s tennis player Nihit Rawal has been appointed to the NCAA Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. His term of office shall begin immediately and shall end on 31.5.2023.

“Nihit Rawal has been a successful leader in the field and in the classroom, “said MEAC Commissioner Dennis E. Thomas.” He will be a huge resource for the NCAA Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. “

“I am really grateful for the opportunity the conference provided,” Rawal said. “It feels great to get support at the conference and represent them at the NCAA SAAC.”

Rawal, one of the recipients of MEAC’s 2021 Nike Degree Graduate Fellowship, earned the All-MEAC First Team awards in 2019 when he helped Bears achieve an overall score of 14-8, a Northern Division title, and a MEAC tournament championship. Last July, he was assigned to the All-Academic Team of the Division I Men and Women Tennis Association (ITA). in accounting.

As a member of the NCAA Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Rawal maintains and promotes the association’s mission, traditions, values, and reputation.
