Exeter City has signed a season-long loan with Irish striker Padraig Amond from Newport County.
The 33-year-old has been in Newport since 2017 and scored nine goals last year when the team reached the final of the League Two playoffs.
Amond began his career at Shamrock Rovers and has played in Morecambe, Grimsby Town and Hartlepool United.
He became the team’s top scorer every season over four years in Newport.
“I’m really happy to join the club on loan. It’s a really good club and I hope I can come in and make an impact right away,” Amond said.
