Speaking on Twitter, Steve said: “An eventful morning began with a trip to Harrogate Fire Station to get a ring cut with a swollen finger I had gotten stuck in the door.
“Thank you so much for solving this problem! Right after that I had to take my daughter for her first day ever at nursery.”
A spokesperson for the service said: “The crews cut the ring off Steve’s finger with the ring cutter and then she’s free to go about her day!”
Busy morning… started with a trip to @FireHarrogate to get a ring cut with a swollen finger I was trapped in the door… Many thanks to Matt @TurnerTurner11, Lisa @Arcticwolf31 and Dave + James for sorting it out!
