The guys and Peter also share their thoughts on what Avs might look like this season and whether they’re as good as they expect to go in the second year with high expectations. Aarif Deenis, of the Colorado Avalanche, won the journalist. He covers Avs games live from Ball Arena and attends rehearsals, media access and other Avs-related events on a daily basis. He is also the host of the Hockey Mountain High: Your go-to Avalanche podcast. Deen joined Mile High Sports after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in business administration from Dearborn University in Michigan. Prior to Mile High Sports, Deen worked in the Athletics Department at Wolverines Michigan as Director of Sports Information.
