The generosity of Bob and Mark Littlechild means that table tennis in Wisbech will return for a new season.
The Wisbech Table Tennis Club, formerly known as The Wisbech & District Table Tennis Association, has been given access to an unused barn for couples to use as their new premises.
Under the direction of local builder John Blyth, several volunteers have worked hard to renovate the barn.
This was made possible by a generous 5,000 grant from the Hudson Foundation, 300 donations from Wisbech Lions and 100 donations from the club’s life director, George Norman.
The club will now continue to support the Fenland Active program with its 50+ program on Mondays and Fridays, and will hold its own sessions on Saturday afternoons.
Junior coaching is available on Saturday mornings. Members pay 10 years for seniors and only 5 for younger ones.
