Gina Marotta won overtime when Montville overtook Morris Knolls 4-3 on Saturday in Montville.
The goal was Marottas second in the day, and the goal took Montville to a 3-1 lead in the second quarter.
Montville led the 3-1 lead into the fourth quarter, but goals from Megan McGavin and Stephanie Crossan helped smooth out Morris Knolls.
The win kept Montville perfect for the new season 4-0 when Morris Hills visited on Wednesday.
Morris Knolls (1-1-1) leaves for Mount Olive on Monday.
