Michigan’s No. 9 match at Rutgers was canceled due to bad weather

PISCATAWAY, NJ -Due to bad weather on Thursday (September 23), the scheduled match between the No. 18 University of Michigan women’s national football team and Yurcak Field’s No. 9 Rutgers has been canceled.
Together with the Big Ten Conference, both programs are looking for a possible transition date.
The match, which originally started at 6pm, was postponed at 4pm due to the threat of bad weather expected. The lightning then delayed the match at 7 p.m., before it was canceled after continued rain in the greater New Jersey area.
Michigan will return home to host Wisconsin on Sunday (September 26) at noon at the UM SoccerStadium. The match will be broadcast live on B1G +.
