About Us – Children’s Mental Health Campaign

[ad_1]

We are an extensive statewide network that advocates for policies, systems and practical solutions to ensure that all children in Massachusetts have access to resources to prevent, diagnose and treat mental health problems in a way. timely, efficient and compassionate. This will only happen through a shared responsibility between government and health care institutions working together to improve mental health care and access for children and youth.

The Campaign for Children’s Mental Health (CMHC) executive committee is made up of six reputable partner organizations: The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, Boston Children’s Hospital, the Parents / Professionals Defense League, Healthcare for all, Lawyers in health law, and the Massachusetts Association for Mental Health.

Our compassion, common sense and conviction guide our work:

CMHC is also engaged and informed by behavioral health stakeholders across Massachusetts, including families and youth. We host specific issues workgroups, educational presentations and public events where we welcome and encourage the participation of all those with an interest in children’s behavioral health.
