A Bucs fan ended up with Tom Brady’s 600th touchdown. The fan traded the ball with the team when it was potentially worth $ 500,000. In “Monday Night Football,” Brady said he would give the fan a Bitcoin. Loading Something is loading.
Even Tom Brady thinks the fan who came into possession of his 600th touchdown ball should have resisted a better deal.
Speaking with ESPN’s “ManningCast” from “Monday Night Football”, Brady broke the deal with the fan and revealed that he plans to give the fan a Bitcoin for his troubles.
Brady threw the 600th touchdown of his career on Sunday, becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to reach the milestone. Unfortunately, wide receiver Mike Evans handed the ball to a fan in the crowd before realizing the importance of the score, which led to a few deflections.

Fan Byron Kennedy negotiated with a Buccaneers coach before finally returning the ball to the team.
On Monday, Brady said he was grateful for getting the ball back in his possession. However, he thought Kennedy could have asked for more.
“There was a lot of negotiation to get the ball back,” Brady told brothers Peyton Manning and Eli Manning. “Byron realized he had lost all of his power giving the ball away. He should have held it to have as much weight as possible.”
“If he had held it, he would have been sitting in the Tom Brady suite for the rest of the season,” Peyton joked. “Amateur movement on his part.”
“I think it worked,” Brady said. “I also give him a Bitcoin. That’s pretty cool too. At the end of the day, I think he’s still doing pretty well.”

Some estimates put the value of Brady’s 600th touchdown ball at $ 500,000. While Kennedy won’t get that sort of salary, the value of a Bitcoin hovered between $ 62,000 and $ 63,000 on Monday, so it’s not as if Kennedy completely missed out on his potential financial windfall.
For Brady, the gift of cryptocurrency fits perfectly into his current role as pitchman for FTX.

In addition to his new crypto investment, the Buccaneers have given Kennedy a pretty impressive package of treatments as a thank you for his cooperation.

While Kennedy got a solid grip on the ball on Monday he had one request he wished he’d added to the negotiations – a game of golf with the GOAT.
Maybe Brady will find time in the offseason to do it. Until then, one Bitcoin will have to suffice.
