Arsenal will be the favorites to reach the Carabao Cup quarter-finals on Tuesday evening.

Mikel Arteta’s side bounced back from a poor performance against Crystal Palace to ease up on Aston Villa in the Premier League last time out, with Emile Smith Rowe earning praise.

Now the derby against Leeds comes in the fourth round of a competition Arsenal have not won since 1993, with the host poised to make changes after ruling out West Brom and Wimbledon in previous competitions.

The likes of Brazilian striker Gabriel Martinelli will be hoping for another significant opportunity to impress ahead of this weekend’s trip to Leicester.

It’s a long ball of Leno carried by Nketiah, with Drameh back for Cooper, who tries to get back at Meslier.

But Nketiah chases after it and throws in front of Mesler, making a ‘keeper’ arrest, touching, and then nearly firing at the low end with goal delays as he was on the verge of finding the back of the net against his former loan club.

I got out of his leg I think.

Regardless, Arsenal appear to be heading towards the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
