Nuno Espirito Santo will try to inject some life into the ailing Tottenham team tonight when they travel to Turf Moor.

A 1-0 win over West Ham led to two defeats in a row after the coach rested his favorite starting line-up after losing at Vitesse just days ago, leading to big questions over who will play against Burnley.

Clarett hopes to reach the Carabao Cup quarter-finals for the first time since 2008/09, when a club in the tournament was knocked out in the semi-finals by Spurs.

Tottenham have been a ghost club for Burnley in recent times, with nine wins and four draws in their last 14 meetings.

A 2-2 draw at Southampton at the weekend sends Sean Dycke’s side into this game in a tricky state, with just one win in 90 minutes all season and still without a league win.

With the game kicking off at 7.45pm, catch up on all the action with Dan Kilpatrick at Turf Moor…

Elsewhere in the Carabao Cup, there are some matches that have more action than this and some that are less.

Leicester beat Brighton 2-1 after two strikes in stoppage time, with Brentford two goals ahead of Stoke City.

Liverpool – Preston, West Ham – Man City and this whole match without goals.

Low quality affair at Turf Moor. Spurs certainly shaded it but Kane missed two tricky chances on his left foot. Burnley’s best performance was to open a cross for Gudmundsson, forcing Royal to an embarrassing elimination.

A corner ball was passed to Kane, free in the far corner…but his shot flies as he tries to hook his left foot to the high ball.

It’s not easy, but still not what the Englishman used to do in front of goal.

42 min: Oh dear, Moura breaks with a smart dribble up to D, and with Kane free to the right and up to Hojbjerg’s option, he puts a tame ball straight on the Burnley defender and the opportunity goes.
