NFL Week 9 Ratings: Jaguars Gets “A +” Bills for Shocking Shock, Bears Gets “B” for Monday’s Loss to Steelers

[ad_1]

Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been one of the NFL’s most unstoppable players this year, but it looks like he has one weakness, and that weakness is called Josh Allen.

This is not the story of some internal conflict that Bills quarterback may have, but the story of how Jaguars defender Josh Allen helped his team’s engineer beat Bills with a spectacular 9-6 win, which remains one of the biggest upheavals in NFL recent history.

With both attacks in trouble, this was a game where the winner needed their defense to make a big game, and that’s exactly what Allen did for the Jaguars. In one of the most dominant defensive performances of the season, Allen recovered the brawl, picked up the feed and recorded the sack, and Jags needed everything to dismay it.

The abduction came in the third quarter, when the game was a tie at 6-6.

After the abduction, the Jaguars got the ball from Buffalo’s 30-yard line, and while they didn’t get the ball in possession, they eventually scored the game’s winning points when Matthew Wright hit 21 yards. field paint. It was one of three Wright goals scored, also hitting 39 and 55.

As for Allen – Jaguars – his day of making great plays was not over after the abduction. When the Bills quickly reached the finish line at the end of the fourth quarter, Jaguar’s defense needed a big game, and it got it from Allen again.

This recovery in Allen’s brawl came in a THIRD-DOWN game from Jacksonville’s 37-yard line. If Allen had just thrown an incomplete feed in there, the Bills could have leveled the game with a field goal in the next game, but they never got a chance because of Jaguar’s recovery.

While Allen’s first-half kicks weren’t as big as a cut-out or the recovery of his explosion, it was notable because it was the first time in quarterback that a quarterback was fired by a player of the same name.

The crazy thing about this game for the Jaguars is that they won the NFL on the day with the most points attack, when Jacksonville was only 218 yards. The reason they were able to do so is due to near-perfect performance from both Allen and the rest of Jaguar’s defense.
