DETROIT, Mich. – Lions player D’Andre Swift missed a 16-14 Thanksgiving loss to the Chicago Bears on Thursday due to a shoulder injury.
Swift left the field and headed for the locker room during the second quarter after Bears club Roquan Smith pushed him out of bounds on Chicago’s 32-yard line after a 2-yard win.
Swift’s day ended in three moves with zero rush yards. He also got three receptions at 9 yards.
He leads the team with 555 running yards after releasing consecutive games over 130 yards and moves into Thursday’s holiday classic, which dates back to 1934.
