I’m a Celebrity came under fire after fans were convinced the producers gave Naughty Boy a much easier trial than Richard Madeley.

Richard Madeley only got four stars in his challenge while digging through rotten vegetables and fish guts to find stars.

Tonight, Naughty Boy was chosen by viewers for the trial called Creepy Closets where he was to find the stars hidden among the clothes, while being covered in fish guts and offal.

And he surprised everyone by earning 11 stars. He told Ant and Dec, “I’m over the moon, I sure wasn’t expecting it… and neither are you.”

Ant admitted he didn’t after it “took him so long on the first star.”

Viewers got another criticism of the challenge, however – that it was much easier than Richard’s challenge as they said the music producer was given “special treatment”.

They also stated that Ant and Dec gave Naughty Boy a lot more help and “direction” than they gave Richard.

Chris Burns asked, “Did they deliberately make this trial easy for Naughty Boy?” It’s nowhere near as difficult as Richards’ trial, and he’s handling it despite a slow motion #ImACeleb ”

Richard Boardman said: “It’s the easiest trial ever. You might as well give it the stars. #ImACeleb”

Glynis wrote: “#ImACeleb why is this trial so easy compared to what Richard had to do. Ant & Dec literally told him what to do – pathetic”

Emmerson agrees: “Why is Naughty Boy getting special treatment in the lawsuit? Richard never got this level of help, from Ant & Dec. #ImACeleb”
