The LAHORE – NNG Table Tennis Tournament 2021 ended at the North Nazimabad Gymkhana, where Azhar Khursheed, Umar Qazi emerged as the winners in the senior and junior categories.
According to Ghulam Muhammad Khan, the sports coordinator for Commissioner Karachi, Azhar Khursheed played well and won the senior series, while Rafia Ahmed finished second. In the juniors, Umar Qazi was the winner, while Ali Qazi was second. Former Provincial Sports Minister Dr. Syed Junaid Ali Shah, chairman of the Sindh Olympic Federation, celebrated the occasion as a guest speaker. He announced that he and his family will expand all possible cooperation to promote table tennis, including all sports, to keep young people out of negative activities.
He said this while speaking at the closing ceremony of the event, led by Extraordinary Deputy Commissioner Central Imran Rajput. Eventually, Chief Guest Dr. Junaid Ali Shah distributed trophies and personal cash prizes to the winners and runners-up.
