Heather Rae El Moussa Gets a Surprise from Tarek During Wedding Dress Installation on New HGTV Special

Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young giving fans an exclusive look inside their magical wedding.

Fans of the couple will have the chance to watch the two tie the knot at their upcoming special wedding, Tarek & Heather The Big I Do.

This one-hour special wedding event saw the two make the finishing touches before their big day. The main storyline includes a sudden change to the couple’s original wedding venue at a resort in Mexico, according to the news release.

A last-minute change left the couple scrambling with just four months to start their search and plan another wedding.

In this exclusive clip from the special event, Young, 34, sets out to find the wedding dress of her dreams.

“You look beautiful,” Young’s mother said as the bride-to-be stood before the family in her gown. “I think in my mind and him, we may have found the right one.”

Young also got a beautiful rose bouquet sent from El Moussa, 40, during the install.

“When I sent Heather flowers I literally told her how special she is to me. It’s so important that you pamper your loved ones. You just have to remind them as often as possible how special they are to you,” El Moussa says in the clip.

The flowers were accompanied by a note from the groom, saying he knew how beautiful she looked in the dress, and couldn’t wait to see her wear it.

The couple married October 23 in front of 150 guests in Montecito, California. An Old Hollywood style affair is filled with touches of glamor, such as a 100-foot-tall, sparkling black aisle, arches of white orchids and roses, and cocktails and cakes all topped with gold leaf.

“It was so magical. Better than we expected. We were tired, but very happy at the same time,” Young told PEOPLE about the romantic event, which they planned with the help of the team at Pure Luxury Event.

“It felt like straight out of a movie,” added El Moussa. “Everything was spectacular.”

Tarek & Heather The Big I Do will premiere Thursday, December 16 at night on HGTV. Fans can also stream on discovery+.
