Happy Birthday Salman Khan: Young Stars Share Their Experiences of Working with Him | Bollywood

Actor Salman Khan’s relationship with the kids is well known – they absolutely admire him and try to emulate his cool guys as well. On the occasion of his 56th birthday, we talk to three of his young colleagues at the time about what it was like to work with their “Uncle Salman.”

ALI HAJI (Played as a partner in Rohan, 2007)

To be honest, I had the best experience of my life with Uncle Salman. The descriptions of the partner never felt like shooting and even more so. Equals are constantly surrounded by Salman Khan, Govinda and David Dhawan, who are legends. Salma’s uncle is such a happy person to be with, always so positive. Every line in my character in the film was due to him. Before taking it, he said ‘yel bolna’, and you trust him. Many months later you see people laughing at the big screen for it, it was his touch. The relationship continued as he took me to his farmhouse, introduced me to his nephews, and we became friends. He treated my family like his own. He also made me sit in his bokong during the filming of our film, took me to the streets of Mumbai for a toy store and bought me a bike to see me riding in the Partner.

HARSHAALI MALHOTRA (Played by Munnia Bajrangi in Bhaijaan, 2015)

It was such a good experience working with Uncle Salman, we had so much fun. I don’t remember when I first met him, but I remember saying to him “I want to be a superstar like you” in our first meeting. He gave me a lot of gifts. Meri ek Baar tabiyaar kharab ho gayi thi, so he gave me a tip “Ek actor ko nahi dikhana chahiye ki unki tabiyat kharab hai”. We all used to just laugh because he stayed funny. He took me to play table tennis and ATV rides. Now he’s very busy, so I can’t talk to him that much. I would definitely like to work with him again. My mother told me that Bajrangi to Bhaija 2 might be going on, I would like to be involved with Uncle Salman. I wish him every year on his birthday, sometimes he can talk, sometimes he can’t. He asks me “padhaai kaisi chal rahi hai”. The reason I haven’t taken any more projects after Bajrangi Bhaijaan is because Salma’s uncle had said don’t do small roles, so I’m looking forward to good roles.

SANA SAEED (Played by Anjalia Kuch Kuch Hota Haissa, 1998)

I remember I had fun doing my scene with him at Kucb Kuch Hota Hai, starring little Anjal and he starring Aman Mehra. He was always very friendly and so playful. I enjoy a lot. His energy was simply awesome. Again, I got the opportunity to work with him for a while in the filming of Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega, but I haven’t met him in person since.
