The Pakistani cricketer further described how the kiosk reminded him of his childhood. “I love spending time around this special handcart, and it reminded me of my childhood,” Riaz said.

Riaz has not performed in an international match in Pakistan for over a year. His last trip to Pakistan came at the T20I against New Zealand in December 2020. Meanwhile, his last ODI match for Men in Green was a month earlier against Zimbabwe.

As for test cricket, Riaz hasn’t played a single match for Pakistan in Pakistan in nearly four years, and his last appearance came in 2018 against Australia in Dubai.

In the Pakistan Super League (PSL), he plays in Peshwar Zalm. He recently played for the Lanka Premier League (LPL) in Jaffna Kings.
