Schiaparelli catches the eye with catwalk shows out there during Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week is definitely on the way – and Schiaparelli made sure to stand out from the crowd by opting for a flashy, almost threatening look.

The Italian brand caught the eye when it presented its Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2022 show at the Petit Palais at the Musée des Beaux-arts de la Ville de Parison on Monday.

An enthralled audience – made up of A-listers like Kanye West and girlfriend Julia Fox – watched the models flaunt the bold designs – which include intricate gold structures and eerie nose pieces.

Titled An Age of Discipline, the event was created by Daniel Roseberry, who served as Artistic Director for the brand in 2019.

Commenting on the event, Mode said it was ‘Emo with a haute touch’, adding: ‘There were two moments of beauty that stood out; jewel-encrusted tears dripped down a model’s face, and a sinister gold nose cut.

Elsewhere, her hair is slicked back and minimal, which keeps things modern. It’s also the perfect canvas for giant hair accessories like Roseberry halos.’

Celebrity guests on the show included Kanye West and girlfriend Julia Fox, who kept the outfits in sync as they attended the event together.

The rapper, 44, was joined by his new girlfriend, 31, as they posed for photos in a leather ensemble that appeared to be inspired by the film series The Matrix.

Kanye wears another face covering – a favorite look of the moment – which hides all of his tiny eye sockets.

The FourFiveSeconds singer added to her look with a leather jacket and trousers which were paired with boots and thick knee-high gloves.

Also on the Schiaparelli show was Pixie Lott, who looked stunning in a black blazer embellished with a glittering gold padlock design which she teamed with tapered trousers.
