The Devices Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (DSCOT) team develops and supports systems and processes that make planning, manufacturing, launching and supporting Amazon devices as efficient and friction-less as possible. We own and build platforms to support everything from Supply Planning, Materials Management, and Product Lifecycle Management to Device Costing, among others. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager – Tech, with a strong delivery record and senior leadership experience to own and manage strategic, cross-functional technology programs with web software and services. This high-visibility role will require working with business and software teams across the company and around the world to prioritize projects which support both new products / programs and existing supply chain systems.

Key job responsibilities Responsibilities include:

Collaborate with multiple agile engineering and design teams to coordinate, prioritize and deliver to an ambitious roadmap.Forming cross-functional project teams, planning and organizing, managing, and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholdersInnovating for step-change improvement in safety, quality, and cost metricsPartnering with Directors, VPs, and other key operational experts across the company to lead, support, and influence new business initiatives The candidate will also demonstrate: Ability to think strategically and execute methodicallyDemonstrated ability to lead teamsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desiredCommitted to learning and expanding professional and technical knowledgeDemonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use har d data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business casesAbility to clearly communicate data insights to othersBASIC QUALIFICATIONS7 + years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technologyExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productBachelor’s DegreeExperience with end to end product deliveryExperience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a productExperience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related fields2 + years of experience analyzing cost / benefit of proposed projects PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMBA or Masters degree in Engineering, Management, or Technology preferredAbility to work with teams at all levels of the organization Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven problem solving skills
