Florence Pugh continues to dominate every red carpet she walks on.
At Monday’s British Fashion Awards, the Do not worry dear the actress and director wore a red dress designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli, Valentino’s creative director. Pugh was at the event to present Piccioli the Designer of the Year award.
The star’s gown in signature red Valentino featured sheer red straps and an open back. The full skirt fell to the floor and turned into a long train that swept behind. Pugh slicked back her hair and wore deep red lipstick which she paired with deep red fingernails.
Phew posted some photos of the event, her dress, and Piccioli on Instagram on Wednesday. The first photo features the star and designer in a red room, with Pugh standing and Piccioli sitting in a big red chair.
The second and third photos show the actress presenting the award to the designer and posing after the presentation.

In the fourth photo, Pugh is standing halfway up the stairs, looking back at the camera over her shoulder, showing off the open back of the dress and the long, shapely train.
“WOW,” wrote the 26-year-old actress alongside the photo. “WOWZER. My first night at The British Fashion Awards and to be honest it was hard to top it.”

He continued: “I have to give credit to this incredibly talented man. Really, thank you for letting me be a part of your family moment @pppiccioli, and thank you for always showing everyone love and kindness. I feel so grateful and honored have found a friend in you.”
“Dripping in Valentino red from the shoulders out, design by the man himself. Quite a pinching moment for me,” Pugh wrote in a tribute to his friend Piccioli. “We danced, we cheered, we hugged. What a beautiful night.”

Designer Valentino responded to his friend in the comments. “Dearest @florencepugh,” he wrote.
“Thank you for being with me and with all of us, it was a precious moment and you decorated it with your energy and friendship. Grazie from the bottom of my heart,” he concluded.
