Brighter Financial Futures (dba PennCFL) announced that Jersey Shore Area High School was a winner in a Woodlands Bank Stock Market Challenge competition led by Tim Dershem, according to a press release.
Competitions are held in classrooms across the county and statewide and Jersey Shore placed first for Lycoming County and in the top 10 in the national competition, the press release said.
The program is sponsored by Woodlands Bank, a local bank headquartered in Williamsport.
