LONDON Two low-ranking French tennis players have been banned for life after a hearing authority found them guilty of match-fixing. Jules Okala, 25, at a career-best ATP ranking of No. 338, and Mick Lescure, 29, at No. 487, “admitted to multiple charges,” the International Tennis Integrity Agency announced Friday. Neither player may compete or even participate in any sanctioned tennis event again. Okala was found guilty of seven match-fixing charges and fined $15,000 in addition to a permanent ban. Lescure was found guilty of eight charges and fined $40,000.
