Kewaunee County 4-H is bringing old prom dresses back to life

Old formals in your closet could earn you and the Kewaunee County 4-H Youth Association a few extra dollars in 2023. After two years of COVID-related cancellations, the organization is reinstating its annual prom dress sale. For a small consignment fee, the Kewaunee County 4-H Youth Association places your dress on the block sale for people to see and buy. If your dress is purchased, you can keep the profits. 4-H leader Kayla Bosman says the money the organization earns through shipping dresses allows them to do many community activities.

Start collecting your dresses now because you can take them to the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds on January 19, 20, and 21 for sale January 20 and 21. Unsold dresses can be donated or retrieved after the event. You can find more details about this year’s event below.
