Nathan Eidse is TSN’s ice cameraman in Halifax, who usually stays out of the spotlight thanks to his all-white outfit. But despite trying to blend in, Eidse has become a crowd favorite.

At the recent World Junior Men’s Hockey Championship at Halifax’s Scotiabank Centre, Eidse – a former goaltender himself – weaved in and out of battle to provide TSN with unique angles while staying out of the way of the competition. which has caught the attention of viewers who praise her for her expertise – including three fans who dressed up as Eids to cheer her on.

Eidse appeared on ica only at the end of games, but in 2018 TSN began to push the envelope more to see what footage could be gathered if he appeared on the ice more regularly during the game. To keep him hidden, TSN added to his all-white outfit by covering up a white camera cover and white guards for his skates.

The idea of ​​making a camera cover came from a legendary player.
