Donald Delbert Del Horne, 86, of Kimball Township, died Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
He was born December 7, 1936 in Port Huron to the late Alfred and Myrtle Horne. He married Delores R. Zeller on January 14, 1961 in Marysville. He died on October 9, 2006.
Del was employed by the Port Huron Police Department and retired after 34 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, RV travel, fixing cars and watching his grandchildren in all their activities. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and a life member of Port Huron Lodge #58 F. & AM
She is survived by her children, Roseann (Rick) Neumeyer and Ronald (Sandy) Horne; four grandchildren, Brandon (Angela) Buelow, Andrew (Jacky) Buelow, Nick (Tammy) Horne and Jordan Horne; four great-grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Zeller and Zander Buelow; sister, Marie Emmons; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Alfred Horne
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Marysville Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 am The Reverend Michael Opfermann will officiate.
Burial was in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township.
