Former President Donald Trump said leaks indicate he will be arrested on Tuesday next week after reports the Manhattan District Attorney’s office said the Manhattan District Attorney’s office was preparing to issue an indictment for alleged hush payments Trump made as a 2016 presidential candidate.
On Saturday morning, Trump posted about the possible indictment on Truth Social, indicating that he was “ARRESTED ON TUESDAY.”
“NOW ILLEGAL LEAKS FROM A CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, WHICH ALLOWED NEW RECORDS TO BE ESTABLISHED IN VIOLENT CRIME AND WHOSE LEADER IS FUNDED BY GEORGE SOROS, REVEALED, WITH NO CRIME TO PROVE, AN OLD & COMPLETE DEBUNKED (BY MANY OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE, THE FAR REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WAS ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, BACK OUR!,” wrote.
A Trump spokesperson echoed the former president’s social media post, saying, “No notice, other than illegal leaks from the Justice Dept. and DAs office, to NBC and other fake news carriers, that the Radical Left funded by George Soros. The Democrat prosecutor in Manhattan has decided to take his Witch-Hunt to the next level.”
“President Trump deserves to highlight his innocence and the weaponization of our system of injustice. He’s in Texas next weekend for a giant rally. Make America Great Again!” the spokesperson added.

A court source told Fox News Digital that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office will meet with law enforcement to “discuss logistics for some time next week, which means they expect an indictment next week .”
The potential indictment stems from a years-long investigation surrounding Trump’s alleged silence scandal involving porn star Stormy Daniels. At the end of the 2016 presidential campaign, Trump’s then-lawyer Michael Cohen sent Daniels $130,000 to prevent her from disclosing her relationship with Trump in 2006. Trump paid Cohen back in installments.

In a lengthy statement on Fox News Digital, Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung slammed the investigation as a “witch hunt” and accused Bragg of being in the pocket of President Biden and “radical Democrats.”
“President Donald J. Trump is completely innocent, he has done nothing wrong, and even the biggest, most Radical Left Democrats have made that clear,” Cheung said.

Reached for comment Friday, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office would not “confirm or comment” on the pending indictment.
