FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. Coming off wins in the top 15 SEC standings, No. 11 Arkansas (24-9) will travel to Starkville, Miss., to face Mississippi State (23-10) March 31-April 2 at Nusz Park. . The first show of the three-game series between the Razorbacks and the Bulldogs is Friday at 4 p.m. on SEC Network+.

The Hogs will be chasing their 10th straight SEC road series win when they travel to Starkville this weekend. After winning their last nine SEC road series, their last SEC road loss was at Alabama on March 6-8, 2020. Additionally, seven of Arkansas’ last nine conference road series wins have come against top-25 teams, including two against top-10 teams. The Razorbacks have won 10 of their last 11 SEC series dating back to 2021. Arkansas won all eight series in 2022 before having their streak snapped against Texas A&M on the 12th. March.

Series
Although Mississippi State holds a 32-38 series lead over the Razorbacks, Arkansas brings a six-game winning streak to the Bulldogs at Nusz Park on Friday. It will be the first meeting between the two teams since 26-28. March 2021, when Arkansas beat the Bulldogs in Fayetteville. Arkansas has swept Mississippi State in the last two meetings. The Hogs will visit Starkville for the first time since the 22nd-24th. April 2017. Arkansas is chasing its first series win against Mississippi State in Starkville since the 2009 season, when the Hogs swept the Bulldogs in three games. Arkansas has three series wins in Starkville, from 1997-97 (won three in a four-game series), 2003 (2-1 series win) and 2009 (3-0 series sweep).
Last time
It was another historic weekend at Bogle Park as Arkansas picked up the program’s first series win against No. 10 Florida at Bogle Park. After opening the series on March 24, 6-2, the Hogs collected their first win against Florida at Bogle Park. For the first time in history, Arkansas has won two straight series against the Gators. The Razorbacks also claimed the program’s first SEC series win over Alabama in Tuscaloosa on 18-20. March. In a historic rubber match on Monday, March 20, reigning SEC Pitcher of the Year and redshirt senior RHP Chenise Delce threw a career-high 10 innings and 172 strikeouts en route to a 2-1 victory.
Rylin’s Big Bat
Redshirt junior Rylin Hedgecock (.355 BA, .871 SLG, .470 OBP, 33 H, 25 R, 14 HR, 42 RBI, 81 TB) ranks second nationally and first in the SEC in home runs with 14 blasts so far. Hedgecock is fifth nationally in home runs per game (0.42). The Valdosta, Ga., product also has the fifth-most drives in the nation (42).
Delce Domination
Redshirt senior RHP Chenise Delce (13-4) has posted four consecutive top-15 wins. The Oklahoma City native has decisions against opponents currently ranked in the ESPN.com/USA Softballs Top 25, including Alabama (twice), Florida (twice), Arizona (twice), Baylor, Louisiana and Texas A&M. Delces 13 wins this season and is 10th.
