Women’s Lacrosse Edged, Lafayette, 12-10 p.m

EASTON, Pa. – The Boston University women’s lacrosse team dropped a 12-10 contest to Lafayette on Saturday afternoon at Fisher Stadium.

Second year student Abby Cotraro and older Jennifer Barry Each recorded two goals and an assist for the Terriers, who move to 6-5 overall and 1-4 in Patriot League play.

Down 5-2 midway through the second quarter, the Terriers scored three straight to draw even with the Leopards. However, Lafayette responded with three of their own to regain the lead for good.

Barry led a late comeback effort, scoring all three of his points in the final seven minutes of the game, but Leoards held on for the win.

Second year students Matty Spaeth and Hannah Tillier each scored two goals for the Terriers as juniors Kendall Sims he had a goal and an assist and in the second course Avery Jones once found the back of the net. Junior goalkeeper Reilly Agres made 11 saves.
