BURNSVILLE, Minn. Augustana’s Andrew Martens has been named the NSIC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for the first time in the outdoor season. Martens deserves credit for his appearance at the Wartburg Outdoor Select this weekend.
NSIC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week
Andrew Martens (Hurdle, So., Sioux Falls, SD / Lincoln HS)
– Second in the 110 meter hurdles Wartburg Outdoor Select
– Ran a personal best and NCAA preliminary time of 14.46
– Ranked first in the NSIC and 28th in NCAA Division II this season
– Also placed fifth in the 400m hurdles with an NSIC top time of 55.78
