ABILENE Abilene Christian recently announced its 2023 football schedule, which includes five home games and the regular season finale at Texas A&M.
2023 is the inaugural season of the United Athletic Conference, and the Wildcats will face six UAC opponents this season.
Season tickets are now on sale.
The season kicks off on Thursday night, August 31st at 7pm when Northern Colorado visits Anthony Field at Wildcat Stadium.
The Cats play at Prairie View A&M on Sept. 9 and return home for a 7:00 p.m. game on Sept. 16 against powerhouse Incarnate Word on Family Weekend.
ACU heads to Central Arkansas for a 6:00 p.m. game on Sept. 23, its first UAC contest.
The Cats will play at North Texas on September 30.
After the bye week, the Wildcats will celebrate Homecoming on Oct. 14 when the University of North Alabama visits for a 3 p.m. conference game.
The Cats are back on the road for two conference weeks at Stephen F. Austin and Southern Utah on Oct. 21 and Oct. 28.
ACU closes out the conference schedule at home against Utah Tech on the 4th. Nov. and against Tarleton State on Nov. 11. November.
The regular season ends with a trip to College Station to face Texas A&M on November 18th.
