Her beauty made her famous on the catwalk and Carla Bruni proved she still has it when she hit the red carpet during the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday.
The former first lady of France, 55, who married former president Nicolas Sarkozy, looked stunning in a floor-length, royal blue Saint Laurent gown.
Carla’s one-shoulder dress perfectly hugs her slim figure and shows off her toned arms.
She added a touch of sparkle with some Chopard jewelry, including a diamond ring and blue cuff bracelet.
The French fashion model exudes confidence as she blows kisses for the camera and poses from different angles.
The famous cover girl looks stunning in pointy heels that add to her height.
She wore her brown hair in loose waves and parted the fringe to the side to showcase her stunning features.
Stepping onto the red carpet for the Firebrand premiere, Carla opted for a sheer palette of makeup, with a hint of blush to her cheeks and subtle pink lipstick.
In previous years, the former model has revealed that she works out for two hours a day and practices an elliptical bike routine, Pilates, and a rigorous barre workout to “stay thin.”
Based on the novel Queens Gambit, Firebrand focuses on Katherine Parr, the sixth and last wife of King Henry VIII, played by Jude Law.
Elsewhere at the festival, Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese received a nine-minute standing ovation for their crime epic, ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ on Saturday night.
It was met with rave reviews and it’s safe to say the first iconic Western director would go down as a “triumph.”
Various film critics have given the Leonardo DiCaprio-led film five stars, some even calling it the best of its genre.
Scorsese released Killers of the Flower Moon at Cannes, debuting an American epic about greed and exploitation on the bloody plains of the Osage Nation reservation in 1920s Oklahoma.
Scorsese’s latest – starring DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone and Robert De Niro – is one of his most ambitious yet.
Adapting David Grann’s best-selling nonfiction book, the film is nearly three and a half hours long and cost Apple $200 million to make.
Addressing the crowd after the screening, he said: ‘We recorded this a few years ago in Oklahoma. It took some time to come, but Apple did very well by us.’
