The headmaster of the Fort Worth school apologized after ‘Dress Like a Student Day’ angered parents

FORT WORTH, Texas – Principal OD Wyatt Howard Robinson issued an apology Thursday after faculty members who participated in ‘Dress Like a Student Day’ angered parents.

“I take full responsibility for oversight created when I post a photo on our school’s Facebook Page without conducting a proper review,” Robinson said in an apology. “The goal is not to belittle or ridicule our students at Wyatt Nation.”

The post includes photos that FOX 4 chose not to display, with educators mimicking students’ style. Staff members wore pajamas, hair caps with blankets and one even wore an ankle monitor.

The employee who posted the photo described it as a “high school in the ghetto”.

“Without a doubt, this incident has taught us a valuable lesson, and I am confident that we will emerge from this experience stronger and more united,” Robinson said. “Going forward, I assure you that I will be increasing vigilance and mindfulness in my role as principal.”

Robinson faces possible disciplinary action from the school district over the incident.

Parents and others close to the campus told FOX 4 principal Howard Robinson to be abruptly removed from campus after photos circulated online. The county would not confirm the report.

Robinson’s apology suggests that he will be graduating next week.
