Itä ranks 6th and 7th in the Big SkyAll-Sports Trophy rankings

FARMINGTON, Utah Eastern Washington was ranked fifth for the men’s division and seventh for the women’s in the Big Sky Conference All-Sports Trophy for the 2022-23 season, the league office announced Thursday.

The All-Sports Trophy standings are determined by a formula that takes into account each school’s regular season finish or conference tournament/championship finish in all conference-sponsored sports offered by the institution. Football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball and tennis award points are based on regular season results, while track and field, cross country and golf points are awarded based on conference tournament/championship results. Indoor and outdoor athletics scores are averaged to create a single score for athletics. Northern Arizona won the women’s trophy this year, while Montana State won the men’s.
