Donald Scott, PE, F.SEI, F.ASCE, is a Senior Consultant at PCS Structural Solutions. Mr. Scott has more than 40 years of experience in the design, analysis, and rehabilitation of building structures. He is the principal investigator for the ASCE/SEI Prestandard for Performance-Based Wind Design. Mr. Scott is Chair of the SEI Resilience Committee, Chair of the SEI Codes and Standards Executive Committee, Chair of the ASCE 7 Wind Load Subcommittee, member of the ASCE 7 Main Committee and past Chair of the NCSEA Wind Engineering Committee. Mr. Scott is a member of the SEI Board of Governors and current President-Elect, and former President of the Board of Directors of the Applied Technology Council. Don is receiving the James Delahay Memorial Award from NCSEA and the Walter P. Moore Jr. Award from SEI for his work in developing Codes and Standards.
