VICKSBURG, Mich. The charges have been filed after the Vicksburg Youth Football Association uncovered suspicious bank transactions during an audit.

According to Vicksburg Rocket Football (VRF), there have been several unexplained financial transactions over the past year, and similar behavior has already been recorded in 2019.

The previous treasurer of the organization was said to be suspect and the results of the inspection were handed over to the authorities.

According to VRF, charges have since been brought in the investigation.

We are both shocked and saddened by this in our great community and racquetball program,” VRF wrote on its Facebook page. We have taken several measures to ensure increased transparency, better financial organization and accountability in all areas, as well as annual audits.

VRF assures residents that the investigation will not affect the program during the upcoming football season.
