Feds charge former youth hockey coach with creating and possessing child porn; the man has already been charged locally

ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – A man accused of child sex crimes in St. Charles and St. Louis counties is now facing federal charges after he claims he created child pornography involving two minors and possessed child pornography of other unidentified minors.

James R. Lambert, 41, was recently charged in St. Charles County with statutory sodomy and child abuse and in St. Louis County with statutory sodomy and child sexual abuse. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri alleges that Lambert lured two minors into sexual behavior and then filmed it. The indictment also alleges that he took the minor across state lines for sex with intent and that he obtained child pornography online.

Lambert pleaded not guilty to the federal charges on Thursday. He was already in jail before Thursday on local charges against him.
