The official opening of the table tennis hall – ALPHA TTK is celebrated

On July 7, ALPHA TTK’s table tennis hall near Mosta was inaugurated. The opening ceremony was held by the patron of the Honorable Minister Julia Farrugia Portelli, Graziella Galea, Graham Bencini and Kevin Azzopardi.

Katia Mifsud, who works as the club’s coach and administrator, welcomed the club’s distinguished members and members on this occasion and mentioned the great strides achieved during the four years of operation of ALPHA TTK. Shadow Sports Minister Graham Bencini wished success to all members of the club in their sporting endeavors and praised the club for creating this magnificent hall. He spoke about the importance of such facilities for the formation and growth of top athletes representing our country in sports. The Honorable Graziella Galea, Shadow Minister for Inclusion and Volunteering, congratulated Klabb on these facilities, which provide a space for people to meet and practice table tennis. He recommended a club of continuous help for people with Parkinson’s disease and hoped that this space would be the start of larger initiatives promoting social inclusion.

Honorable Minister of Inclusion and Voluntary Work Julia Farrugia Portelli closed the event by thanking all club members and their families. The minister did the society’s work especially among people with Parkinson’s disease and in general the whole community.
