Jokowi meets Xi Jinping in China, what is the most important thing?

President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is visitingChina and meet the president Xi JinpingJuly 27-28.

The meeting plan came from Indonesia’s Foreign Minister Retno Marsud when reporters met at the Jakarta State Palace today, Tuesday (July 25).

“The president is going to Chengdu [di China]. He will be there on the 27th and 28th [Juli]. The main agenda is to meet and hold bilateral meetings with President Xi Jinping,” Retno said.

Retno also said that Jokowi organizes business meetings with large companies.

In addition to holding bilateral and business meetings, Jokowi will also participate in the opening of the World University Olympics.

– Sports competition week is like the Olympics, but this time at the university level, Retno stated again.

Retno did not want to reveal the mission that Jokowi brought to the meeting with Xi Jinping.

Indonesia and China have warm diplomatic relations. This familiarity is reflected when Jokowi refers to China as a country with the same fate as Indonesia.

Jokowi’s comments came to light during his visit to China in July 2022.

“Indonesia and the People’s Republic of China [China] are brothers with the same destiny and responsibility,” Jokowi said when he met Xi.

Jokowi then went on to say that China is Indonesia’s comprehensive strategic partner.
