After the PJ Tucker incident, the Nets security guard linked to Kevin Durant is suspended for the rest of the series – The Athletic

Milwaukee — A Nets security guard who pushed a Bucks striker into PJ Tucker while Tucker beat Kevin Durant will not be allowed to play any other games within the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee nor will he be allowed at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, the National Basketball Association said Saturday.

The security guard, Antoine Lambert, 35, was hired by the team at Durant’s request after he worked for Durant personally. It is common in the NBA for teams to employ personal security for their stars – and that has been for decades – but it is not uncommon for these guards to make contact with the opposing team’s player. Lambert would have been suspended regardless of his relationship to any player. Being related to Durant personally increased the attention the incident received.
