Positions Kohli will complete 10 years in test cricket

Indian captain Virat Kohli completed the 10th Test in Cricket on Sunday. Kohli made his longest debut on June 20, 2011 against the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica.

The 32-year-old has since represented India in the 92Tests and is currently leading the final of the inaugural World Test Championship against New Zealand.

Kohli has hit Test Cricket for 27 centuries, seven double centuries. Among active cricketers, the captain of India is the most 200-year-old; Overall, he is the fourth largest and fourth largest behind Wally Hammond and Mahela Jayawardene, behind Don Bradman (12), Kumar Sangakkara (11), Brian Lara (9).

He is also the first batsman of the test century to have won two hundred centuries in four consecutive series.

In 92 tests, he has done 7,534 runs with an average of 52.32.

Kohl became the captain of the Indian test team on the Australian annual tour 2014-15 when Mahendra Singh Dhoni withdrew from the longest form after the third test of a four-match series.

On Saturday, Kohli went past Dhon to become one of India’s most decorated skippers (61). He is also India’s most successful test captain, leading the party to victory in 36 matches.

The blatant Indian batsman is also the first Asian captain to win a series of tests in Australia.
