Donald Ray Chancelor Donald Ray Chancelor was born on April 8, 1945 in Jacksonville, Texas to parents John Revis and Ruby Sides Chancelor. He passed away on June 23, 2021 at his home in Lufkin. He was preceded in death by his parents Ruby and Revis Chancelor, siblings JR Chancelor, Bruce Chancelor, Wayne Chancelor and siblings Ann Copelin and Jan Heidbreder. He is survived by his wife Lena, his daughter Paula Ritchey and wife Robby, son Lee Chancelor and wife Sherry, his children Leisha Brookshire, Tim Brookshire, Richard Brookshire, four grandchildren and seven step-grandson. He is also survived by brother Robert Chancelor, sisters Maria Danner, and Nita Gresham and wife Don, sister-in-law Valerie Chancelor and brother-in-law Alan Heidbreder. Donald Chancelor graduated from Jacksonville High School in the class of 1963. He loved gardening, hunting, raising cattle, spending time with his family, and building his church. He was greatly missed by both family and friends. A service was held at Lancewood Baptist Church and the interment was at Largent Cemetery in Lufkin.
