Wimbledon Fever: Newport tennis courts near you

[ad_1]

WIMBLEDON is approaching, but Newport and the wider Gwent area have suffered from tennis fever.

As elsewhere in the UK, we were fascinated by the efforts of British wildcard Emma Raducanu, who resisted the odds to get to the fourth round of the most famous tennis tournament.

But when the action is coming to an end with the men’s singles final on Sunday (July 11th), we simply don’t have to forget about sports for the whole year.

We don’t even have to wait for the next big tournament to come on our TV.

Newport and its surroundings are home to several tennis courts and sports clubs that allow people to pick up a racket and play.

MORE NEWS:

We may not cover all amenities in the area, but here is what you need to know about local tennis.

If we’ve forgotten your favorite tennis court, let us know in the comments sections below or on one of our own social media pages – including the Argus Sport page.
