The Duggar family has welcomed its newest member!

On Monday, Jessa (Dugar) Seewald announced that she and husband Ben Seewald welcomed their fourth child together. She has not yet revealed the gender or any other details.

“Baby Seewald #4 has arrived!” The former Counting On star, 28, wrote on Instagram along with a photo of her holding the newborn in a hospital bed.

Older sister Jill (Dugar) Dillard commented, “Congratulations sis! So happy for you all!!”

“So excited for you guys!!!” wrote Claire Duggar, sister-in-law.

Jessa and Ben announced in February that they were expecting their fourth child together after Jessa experienced a pregnancy loss last year.

“Following the heartbreaking loss of a baby last year, we are thrilled to have another little Sewald on the way,” the couple said in a statement.

In her posted birth announcement, Jessa directed followers to the first part of her YouTube birth story video, saying that the second part is “Coming Soon!” The shots began with Jessa, Tuesday, July 13 at 7:51 p.m., explaining that she “had a lot of contractions today but not necessarily very painful or anything else. Just kind of that boring pain.”

The mom-of-four — who also shares sons Spurgeon, 5, and Henry, 4, and daughter Ivy, 2 with Ben — said she’s got her delivery bag and baby bag, plus a car seat ready to go. “The date of my birth [July 17] It’s three days away so it’s still a little early, but I’m five days late in my first two pregnancies and I went a week and a half early so you never know.

Before the baby arrived, Jessa admitted that she and Ben were still struggling to decide on a name.

Then at 3:15 a.m. Sunday morning, she explained in another recorded update that she had had contractions roughly every 10 minutes for the past two hours. And I can’t sleep.

“I’d say they’re similar, on a scale of 1 to 10, maybe like seven or eight. But they’re still far apart, so I get a break,” she told viewers. Jessa, who said she was messaging the birth team, added, “It definitely feels like a real deal to me. I tend to feel the real labor contractions more in my back and that’s how it was.”

Hours later, at 3:26 p.m., Jessa and Ben were recorded walking the hospital halls, their contractions three minutes apart.

“Ready to have this baby!” She wrote as the couple got into the elevator and closed the video with the phrase “continues.”
