ATS Announces Amendment to the Pre-Notification Act

CAMBRIDGE, ON, July 26, 2021 /CNW/ – ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc.(TSX: ATA) (“ATS” or the “Company”), a leading provider of automation solutions, has announced that it has made minor changes to the pre-notification provisions of the Act No. . 2, the amended statutes of which will be considered and voted on at the upcoming annual and special meeting on Special August 12, 2021. The amendments to Regulation No. 2, which was included in Annex “A” to the ATS Circular Management Information of June 15, 2021, include replacing the reference to “rules and standards applicable to the Company” with “applicable securities laws and the rules of any stock exchange on which the Company’s securities are then listed”. The above changes were made to reflect best practice and to clarify that any additional disclosure requests the Company may make to proposed nominee directors to determine their independence are limited to applicable securities laws and stock exchange policies.
