Stock indices Ljubljana close to higher turnover

LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), Sept. 13 (SeeNews) – The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) rose Monday on higher sales, stock data showed.

The blue-chip SBITOP index gained 0.86% to 1,179.10 points. The SBITOP TR Index, which also tracks dividend payout, added 0.83% and closed at 1,371.59 points, LJSE data showed.

Pharmaceutical company Krka [LJE:KRKG] On Monday, shares gained the most in value as shares rose 1.82% during the session to $112. Telekom Slovenia [LJE:TLSG] was another notable winner, with shares closing 1.48% higher at EUR 54.80.

Insurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] was the only decliner among members of the two indices. The share lost 0.36% and closed at 27.40 euros.

LJSE’s total revenue increased from 899,496 euros on Friday to 1.19 million euros ($1.4 million) on Monday.

Seaport operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] was the most liquid company on the stock exchange on Monday with a turnover of 424,243 euros. The share closed flat at 24.60 euros.
