Futures have risen, reversing previous losses to suggest Wall Street indices could rise on their first trading day of the fourth quarter. This is what was looking for before the opening of the Friday market.
- Theater chain and meme stock favorite AMC Entertainment AMC 7.09%
rose 1.9% premarket after announcing debt repurchases that cut overall interest costs.
- According to Naeem Aslam, chief market analyst at brokerage AvaTrade, cryptocurrencies were broadly on the rise on Friday and are likely to benefit from increased optimism heading into the fourth quarter following recent rangebound trading. The price of Bitcoin rose 9.1% from the 5pm ET level on Thursday. Fed Chair Jerome Powell said on Thursday the US has no plans to ban cryptocurrencies, possibly adding to positive sentiment after China deemed them illegal last week. Crypto exchange Coinbase COIN 0.98%
Globals shares gained 4.2% premarket.

decreased by 3.7% and 5.2% respectively.
