Link Chase Business and Personal Accounts Online

Chase Ultimate Rewards points can be easily combined between your own cards and one member of your household. However, at the beginning of this year, the link between my personal and business cards broke and I could no longer combine points from my personal to business cards online. I eventually called Chase and found that the solution would be to combine my personal and business cards into a single business card login (mine had been separate). I went ahead and did that over the phone and now my business card login shows both business and personal cards. My old personal card login also continues to work. This week, Milenomics Reports Which you can now add your personal cards to your business login online. This can have several advantages.

The first reason you want to have both your consumer and business cards in a single login is to easily combine your Ultimate Rewards points. Now I can login to my business cards login and easily combine my points between personal and business cards.

Another reason this might be desirable is because it’s just mentally easier to see all your cards in one login. My wife and I manage a lot of credit cards and the more places we need to log in when we do the bills, the more likely something will be forgotten. Any simplification of the process is helpful.

The other reason I was happy to combine the logins is because it makes my life one login easier when checking for new Chase offers. Log in to my personal account, then to my business account and then my wife has to log in toher personal account, and then her business account becomes annoying. Two logins is much easier than four.

In terms of disadvantage, as Milenomics points out, a few years ago there was a situation where some targeted card offers were only shown to people whose logins were not combined. That was such a niche situation that to my knowledge it has not been repeated that I am less concerned with that and more with simplification.
