COVID protocols fully implemented for Manchester City – News

With our third round draw of the Emirates FA Cup against Manchester City set to cross the 10,000 threshold, supporters are required by law to fully comply with the government’s Plan B protocols to access the match.

To avoid doubt this is a mandatory requirement and must be fully adhered to in order to access The County Ground for Friday’s game.

No refunds will be given to those who have been denied entry on the night for non-compliance, nor does the club accept any responsibility for late entry after kick-off.

That’s why we urge all supporters to arrive early Friday evening and have your COVID pass ready for checking. Also make sure to wear a face covering.

It is a requirement that fans over the age of 11 wear face coverings at all times, except when eating, drinking or sitting in your seat.

Also, don’t bring bags to cut down on the wait time as they are searched before entering the stadium, there is also no on-site parking on Fridays.

We would like to remind fans that no one over the age of 18 will NOT be able to access the game unless they can provide one of the following:

A proof of vaccination

• Show a Covid pass on the NHS app to show they have received both doses of vaccine vaccinated at least 14 days before the competition. For easy access, the Covid Pass must be downloaded to your mobile phone wallet.
• Supporters without a smartphone can request a Covid Pass letter from the NHS. click here for more details.

(We recommend that you also bring a paper copy of the Covid Pass and NHS emails or text messages in case of phone or network outage.)

B. Lateral Flow Tests

• The results of lateral flow tests taken no earlier than 48 hours before kick-off must be recorded in the NHS app. click here for more information about recording your lateral flow test result.

• The NHS will send an email or text message with the results of the test to be presented on entering the stadium.

• The physical test itself is not acceptable as evidence.

C. Medical Waivers

• Provide proof of an official medical exemption on the NHS Pass.
