Rayna V. Farrell, Deputy Chief of Communications, Deputy Chief of Communications

Rayna V. Farrell is deputy chief of communications for corporate roundtables. In this role, she is focused on strategic communications planning and implementation, while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the communications team and the execution of communications initiatives and campaigns.

Previously, Farrell was Chief of Staff of Public Affairs, where she oversaw the day-to-day running of the Public Affairs team.

During her time at the Roundtable, Farrell led successful efforts and announcements on important issues, most notably the association’s updated statement on a corporation’s purpose and the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

Prior to joining Business Roundtable, Farrell worked for Mehlman Castagnetti. At the company, she helped clients develop winning strategies and build relationships with key policymakers in Congress, the White House, government agencies and regulatory agencies. Farrell got her start in DC working on Capitol Hill for Congressman Cedric L. Richmond.

Farrell received her BA in political science and communication studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She lives in Arlington, Virginia with her husband and son.
